Manny Baeza

Manny received his degree in Physical Education with a minor in Business at Arizona State University in 1975. He became a certified  instructor for the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA)  in 1989. What he has been looking for ever since is the best way to help players learn to play and enjoy tennis and to continue to learn to play the best tennis that will keep them playing for a lifetime.

Now in his 31st year, Manny has been a tennis teaching instructor for the state of Georgia,  Forysth County Parks and Recreation Department since 1988. He is currently teaching at Sharon Springs Park, 1950 Sharon Road Cumming, GA and Central Park 2300 Keith Bridge Road Cumming, GA.

In each of the past 30 years Manny has taught 5 sessions of 5-week classes to 5 to 7 year olds, 8 to 10 year olds, 11 to 15 year olds and beginner and intermediate adults. Each year he has also been the tennis instructor for eight  4-day tennis camps for  5 to 7 year olds, 8 to 10 year olds and  11 to 15 year olds. He has coached 18 Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA)  beginner and high intermediate tennis  teams to the Atlanta City Finals championships, and 9 of those teams won the City Championship.

Manny says, "I started studying the MTM method when I found the book  “Play Better tennis in 2 Hours“ in my library of 70+ tennis books and tapes that I have been studying since 1980. I made a search on Oscar Wegner in  Youtube and found a treasure of answers that I had been looking for. Since then I have been reading, watching and listening to everything this method has to offer and believe this system will take me to a much better level of teaching tennis and also improve my play. My biggest regret right now is that I did not find Oscar Wegner’s MTM method  a long time ago, but I am now looking forward to learning and using  this method of teaching."
